Dave's Project
Another reunion story here, after getting back in touch with Aaron after all those years, I found that my old mate Dave now works with Aaron and he was also interested in building a Buggy. After a little bit of hunting around Dave had found himself a suitable Beetle to convert into a Beach Buggy, we all went to view it in nearby Colchester and decided that it was a suitable donor car and had all the correct components we needed to build another Buggy.

Dave was undecided what buggy he was to build but knew one thing it was going to be a SWB so Craig who had shortened my chassis for me was given a call and within a few weeks it was shortened and crying out for the bodyshell.
There was rumours amongst those in the know that a brand new designed bodyshell was being created. It was to be known as a Surf Buggy, it was heavily based on a Manx but with larger front wings and also revised dashboard. Dave instantly liked the sound of it and ordered the new design.

Dave also liked the moulded rear seat option and grooved sidepods and ordered those too, he also has an opening bonnett. The colour is a Black Miraflake with Deep purple stripe through the centre. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

Your a nosey little so and so aren't you, your even reading all the small prints that most corporate sites have written at the bottom of your screen all the time, this site is no different. It has these little words at the bottom that nobody can really read or understand. The only difference is theirs is a load of legal rubbish and mine is just humouring their words. I suppose I should really mention a few bit of legal stuff. So here we go then. Some of the images on this website may well have been stolen form other sites. For this I thank the sites for providing me the literature to use. Many thanks, you work hard so I dont have to. This saved me lots of time when publishing this site.
